The Election & Sarah Palin

The election is 4 days away, and I think everyone has he same thing on their mind - frustration.

The more I think about the candidates running, the more I am confused about how we got to this place. Something that screams at me is MONEY. It's all about the money. How and why Meg W. is able to run for governor boggles my mind. Jerry B.? Didn't he already kind of screw things up like thirty years ago? There HAS to be a better candidate out there. Actually, I KNOW there is a better candidate(s) out there, but I bet they don't have the cash needed to run for office. It's sad, and it's tragic.

In other news, Sarah Palin has a new reality TV show coming out. The commercials keep popping up, and something that she says is driving me bananas. In the preview she says that she would rather be doing this (hanging outdoors), than in some stuffy political office. Whaaaat?! This makes me really angry. This person was extremely close to being the next vice president of this country. And John McCain is OLD. He could have easily gotten sick and died, which would have made Palin THE president of the United States of America. And she just said that she doesn't want to be stuffed in a political office?

All of these things make politics frustrating, exciting, and tiring, all at the same time. I am going to vote, and I encourage you to vote, but I hope that while you do, you won't forget that our system needs some changing in the near future, and I hope you will help to make the change. Real change.
